People Groups – Next Meeting, April 16

People Groups are our small group ministry at RC, and it’s the PERFECT way to connect and create relationships. If you’re new to RC or haven’t plugged into a small group yet, head over to our People Groups Page, then select “Request to Join” any group on the list. The group leader will contact you with more information! We will meet monthly on the third Sunday through May.

Weekly Ministry – Sundays, 8:30am, 10:15am and 12noon & Wednesdays, 7pm

Each Sunday and Wednesday, Restoration Kids, ages birth through 6th grade, participate in an amazing, interactive environment where they encounter God in real and tangible ways. For more information, click HERE.

Mother’s Day Choir Practice

Kids Mother’s Day practices begin in our regular classrooms on Sunday, April 16, 12 noon. A light lunch will be provided from 11:30am -12noon.

For PreK-K, there will be an additional practice choice for families as this group will have practices at 8:30 and 12 noon- choose which service works best for you! Grades 1-6 will practice at 12noon only.

Wednesday Night is a worship experience for students like no other – designed specifically to connect with God and others, while hearing a relevant message to fuel their next step in their relationship with Christ. Bring your friends.

Fam Night – Wednesday, April 12, Pre-Party – 6:15pm | Service – 7pm

Parents, YOU ARE INVITED to our 1st annual Fam Night in Youth on Wednesday, April 12. It’s time for you to join us in partnering with your 7th-12th grader to experience a youth night together. Our pre-party starts at 6:15, which includes coffee carts, cornhole, our merch & opportunity to hang out with fellow youth students + their parents. Service kicks off at 7pm, followed by an epic After Party. You do not want to miss what we have planned for you and your students. 

The Garden – Friday, April 21, 6:30pm

To our High School Girls, we are excited to invite you and your friends to our 2nd Garden Event on Friday, April 21 at 6:30. Join us as we hang out for a night under the stars, eat dinner, worship, hear a few Senior girls share their testimonies, shop the exclusive merch, have smores & take fun pics with your friends. We are Building! We are SO excited to announce the hiring of our principal, Mrs. Christy Mosher, starting this next 2023-24 school year.

She is uniquely gifted and a perfect fit as we look to add to our staff, continue building RCA and launching Kingdom Carriers!

Here’s a brief message from Christy: “Greetings! My name is Christy Mosher, and I am thrilled to join the amazing team of educators at Restoration Community Academy for the 2023-2024 school year. I am a Georgia state-certified teacher with concentrations in language arts, science, and math. I’ve also earned a Master of Education degree from Mercer University, and I received a Charlotte Mason endorsement from Perimeter Christian School. Over the course of my career I have taught in public, private, and homeschool settings, but most recently I’ve been serving at Covenant Christian Academy in Cumming for the past five years. I view Christian education as a means of discipleship by daily integrating faith and a Biblical worldview into classroom learning.

I have been married to my husband, Scott, for 23 years, and we have two teenage sons, Corban and Tavin. In my free time you’ll find me hiking a nature trail, reading a good book, or having coffee and deep conversation with friends. I am thrilled to partner with the parents, students, and teachers at RCA for the 2023-2024 school year and am looking forward to all God has in store as He develops the next generation of Kingdom Carriers for His glory and the good of our community and our world.”

RCA Preview Event – Monday, April 17, 6:30pm

Restoration Community Academy, our K-6th grade Academy, will have its next Parent Preview Night Monday, April 17, at 6:30pm in the 200 Building. It is open enrollment season and we are excited about the new families joining in year 2 for RCA. You will hear the vision, mission, academy details, and how they are launching Kingdom Carriers. Mom’s Bible Study – Every other Tuesday through May 9, 9:30am

Are you a mama wanting to live out God’s design for your family? We can help! Gather with other moms just like you who are seeking to know God and His word more wholly and know themselves more deeply so that they can parent with purpose and disciple with direction.

Betrayal and Beyond

Betrayal & Beyond reveals the truth and nature of sexual addiction and how women are wounded by the addict’s behaviors. If you are a woman who is suffering or has suffered from betrayal, your healing will come from understanding the role of trauma, establishing healthy boundaries, exploring the depth of forgiveness, and learning to live in restoration. Pure Desire – Mondays, 7pm

God gave us a plan for sexual intimacy, and the enemy wants nothing more than to derail and kill our marriages, our families and our lives through an addiction to pornography. To many men, it seems like there isn’t any way out or that they are all alone. You. Are. Not. Alone!!!

Pure Desire Ministries was founded to establish the renewing of our minds from what the world would try to establish as “normal” sexual behavior into a transformed and exciting understanding of true Biblical intimacy. If you have struggles with pornography, even if you aren’t sure the word “addict” applies to you, let us help. This is a sensitive topic, and no one wants to be publicly humiliated or shamed.
