Salvation
Becoming a follower of Jesus
Discover New Life in Jesus
No matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, God loves you—completely and unconditionally. His love isn’t based on your performance, your past, or your potential. It’s who He is. Because of that love, He made a way for you to be in a relationship with Him.
Our sin separates us from our holy God, but He sent His Son, Jesus, to bridge the gap. Jesus gave His life to pay for our sins, and through His resurrection, He conquered sin and death once and for all. Because of what He has done, we have the opportunity to be forgiven and begin a brand-new life in and through Him!
“There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12
Salvation is not something we can earn—it’s a gift. And like any gift, it must be received. That happens when we admit how there is no good that is good enough to get us into Heaven, repent of our past sins, and then trusting in Jesus, believing in what He has done for us, and choosing to follow Him as Lord. If you’re ready to step into a new life with Him, you can make that decision today.
ABCs of Starting Your Journey with Jesus
Following Jesus starts with a simple but powerful choice. Here’s what it looks like:
Acknowledge Your Need for Him
We all fall short, and none of us can fix our brokenness on our own. Acknowledging that we need Jesus, confessing our past sins and choosing to turn from them is the first step.
Believe in What Jesus Has Done
Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again so that we could be restored to God. Placing your faith in Him means trusting that His sacrifice is enough.
Commit Your Life to Him
Faith isn’t just a one-time decision—it’s the start of a lifelong journey. Following Jesus means surrendering your life to Him moment by moment, allowing Him to lead your steps as Lord.
If you’re ready to take this step, we invite you to pray the prayer below.
A Prayer to Begin Your Journey
Father God,
I know that I need You. I’ve tried to do life on my own, but I recognize that I cannot save myself. I come to you to ask You for forgiveness for things I have done wrong through neglect or weakness or even wilfully. I choose today to turn from my former life, surrendering it to you as I place my trust in You and in what You have done. Thank You that because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, I can be forgiven. I receive your forgiveness right now. Help me today to begin walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. I invite You to fill me and to lead me as Lord over my thoughts, decisions, words and actions from this day forward. I pray all of this in Jesus’s mighty name,
Amen.

The Power of Worship in Our Walk with Jesus
Worship is so much more than just singing—it’s a direct connection to God. It’s how we invite His presence into our lives, no matter what we’re facing. The Bible tells us that He lives in the praises of His people, which means that when we worship, we’re not just expressing our love for Him—we are making room for Him to move in our hearts and circumstances.
Worship is Vertical —it’s about lifting our eyes off of ourselves and onto Him. It’s not about how we feel in the moment; it’s about recognizing who He is. When we choose to worship, we are declaring that God is greater than our struggles, our fears, and our emotions. Even when nothing around us changes, worship changes us…it shifts our focus from our problems to His power.
More than an act of gratitude, worship is an act of surrender. It aligns our hearts with His truth and reminds us that He is present, working in ways we may not yet see. When we worship, we’re not just singing—we’re welcoming Him into every part of our lives.
Here are some worship songs to encourage, equip and inspire you on your journey with Jesus.
