wednesday night live! ministry offerings for the whole family!
Yes, that’s right. On Wednesday, September 9th we will return to our family meal, world class children’s ministry and student ministry as well as new adult electives. We are asking everyone to continue to be sensitive to the social distancing guidelines and requests such as the frequent washing of hands, the free choice of whether or not to wear a mask, and respecting the family of believers and their choices during this unusual season.
6 pm– enjoy a delicious homecooked meal in the front lobby. $6 for adults, $4 for kids. This week: pork tenderloin (yum!), mashed potatoes, green beans, and dessert.
7 pm– classes for all ages:
Vertical Church- sanctuary Pastor Chuck leads Vertical Church study which is central to the core values and biblical culture of the Restoration Church. If you are new to the RC family, we highly recommend you start here. We are not a horizontal church where we seek to draw people to the church. No, we are a vertical church that seeks the genuine presence of the Father as He sends His glory according to Ephesians 3:21 “…to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations!”
Grace Changes Everything- Conference Room, Bldg. 100 led by Pastor Munn- Grace is one of the most important words in the New Testament. Unfortunately, it happens to be one of the most misunderstood words in scripture. We are saved by grace through faith but grace is much more than the free pardon of our sins. Pastor Munn will lead an in-depth fascinating study on Grace that Changes EVERYTHING.
Authentic Manhood (Men’s Bible Study)- Prayer Room, Bldg 100 led by Gilbert Pena and Lex Perry- Discover God’s design for men with a clear definition and inspiring vision of authentic manhood. Click here to register or go to the Church Center app on your mobile device. You will be sent links to watch session videos each week.
One In A Million (Women’s Bible Study)- Room 208, Bldg 200 led by Patty Mercer and Vedonna Roberts- An exploration of the Israelites’ journey through the wilderness. Priscilla Shirer encourages participants to fully engage in the abundant life God has waiting for those who will allow Him to take the lead in daily living. One In A Million is an opportunity for you to experience your deliverance from strongholds, to conquer your wilderness living, and to claim your God-given inheritance.
Student Ministry – grades 7-12, Building 300; Children’s Ministry– age 4-grade 6, Building 200; Nursery– birth through age 3-1/2, Building 100
the return- saturday, september 26
The Return is a day of national prayer and repentance. It is an opportunity to join with millions around the globe on September 26, 2020 as we seize this God-given opportunity. The scripture says God will “do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20). We will be hosting a simulcast from 9 am-5 pm and 6 pm-9 pm in our sanctuary. You will be able to join in on all the events from Washington DC anytime during those hours. The Return will take the place of our regular Saturday Congregational prayer. Click here to see a program and schedule of the day.
